The Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) cleaner was designed with shop service in mind. Its portability allows the unit to be placed as close to the vehicle as possible and to be stored wherever needed in the service facility. The advent of the 2010 tier 4 cleaning requirements created the need for a lighter, more portable cleaning system which can be taken into the field to clean filters at the point of service. This DPF cleans up to 20 percent more efficiently than traditional pulse based systems and 5 percent more efficiently than other more expensive "air knife" systems. This unit features - flexibility - clean DPFs from 6 inches to 15.5 inches in diameter using shop or compressed air of at least 100 PSI and 20 CFM sustained airflow, fully automated operation - once started, the cleaning process can be completed with minimal operator oversight, freeing up the technician to simultaneously do other work in the shop, focused air jet technology - concentrates a precise high pressure stream of air directly into every cell, easy maintenance - contains no internal filters that require user maintenance, and rugged design provides maximum durability.
FEATURES –
- 1 yr warranty on material and workmanship.

1) Portable DPF Cleaner. - Word of caution. I purchased this product direct from OTC after researching many different brands and models. It seems to good to be true. Portability. No filters and small foot print compared to all of the other machines. The idea of directly cleaning each individual cell seems superior to the other products. After using the machine for a few months and several service calls and a visit from an engineer, we came to the conclusion that the the machine simply does not clean a DPF. The design of the machine does not allow for an exit point of the carbon so it pushes back up into the other cells. We returned the product and purchased the OTC 5280. The 5280 simply works.
