Author -
Carol C. Porter was born and raised in Washington State. She has taught quiltmaking since 1988 and currently teaches a variety of classes at quilt shops around the Pacific Northwest.
When I saw Carol Porter demonstrating the tool and saw what she had created, I was really impressed. Carol brings this knowledge and creativity to her booklet. Her designs are beautiful, with a thoughtful use of materials and great results. I found the instructions to be clear and easy to follow and appreciated the large number of photos used to illustrate the techniques. I would love to see more designs and what others are doing with this tool.
I think Making Jewelry With a French Knitter is a good value and the description clearly states what the book includes, I also think that many will want to see more!

1) Making Jewelry With a French Knitter - I must confess, I am totally intrigued by the Clover French Knitting Tool. As a child, I remember my sisters and I making long strings with yarn and a spool with nails. Not sure we ever did anything with them but we loved making those strings!

2) Make jewelry instantly ~ so easy and fun!! - I have had so much fun with the French Knitter and get compliments every time I wear a necklace made from yarns or ribbon both with beads added and without. Looks similar to Kumihimo but so much faster and easier. Great for all ages too!!
