Twin-Tip design enables faster flame propagation for more complete combustion. DENSO pioneered the use of platinum in spark plug manufacturing. To maximize the longevity and enhance the durability of the spark plug, DENSO applied platinum to both the center and ground electrodes. Platinum offers superior resistance to erosion and corrosion enabling DENSO to create a spark plug capable of consistent performance.

(1) Good Plugs for The Right Vehicle - I replaced my six year old NGK's with these Denso 4504's in my 1995 Pathfinder with 142K miles. The owner's manual didn't specify type or brand so these platinum plugs seemed to be a good choice. So far I've noticed quicker starting, better performance, higher fuel efficiency, & great price. Hopefully longevity will be added to the list of attributes.

(2) Made in Japan and cheaper at Amazon - What can I say? I bought 6 of them and installed on a 06 Toyota Sienna, so far so good. BTW, it is Made In Japan.
Denso is an OEM supplier for Toyota cars. If you open the hood of a Toyota car, and check how many Denso parts are in it by yourself.By swiminpenumbra on June 20, 2015
