(1) Awesomeness - I purchased the Lulzbot with ZERO 3D printing experience. I ordered this on a complete whim and had no idea what I was getting into. I've always wanted a 3D printer, and the reviews suggested this was the best printer for a novice. Although $1300+ is a lot of money to throw down on a risk, I was willing to take it.

The risk turned into a huge reward!

To start - SketchUp does NOT work for this printer, or any 3D printers. If SketchUp is the only modeling program you are familiar with, learn something new before you buy a 3D printer. I made the mistake of assuming SketchUp would be my primary modeling tool. There are a couple free software options online. If you don't plan to model anything yourself, there are countless models available for download on thingiverse.com. I use Rhino to build my models, and the program has worked flawlessly with the Lulzbot and its software.

I am amazed at the printer's accuracy and detail. While a platform size of 6"x6"x6"seems small, I've never needed to print anything larger. It's really the perfect size for personal use. To compare, Makerbot has a 4"x4"x5" mini model for price similar to the Lulzbot Mini. I'd hesitate to buy something that small.

It's fairly quiet. I can have it running about 12 feet from me and watch TV with no complaints. You'll want a stable surface for the printer, as it will make quick movements and shake an unstable surface. I've printed with both a PC and Macbook Air.

I have no complaints. This printer has turned me into a complete nerd overnight.

(2) Innovative Design and Manufacturing Make a Great 1st 3D Printer - I've been following 3D printing for a while now but I have always been on the fence for a few reasons:

1. Assembly - most problems I see from new printers is from the quality of assembly, either from a kit or poor manufacturing. The Lulzbot Mini was superbly assembled and I experienced no problem from the very first print.
2. Openness - A lot of the well manufactured printers are closed source, Lulzbot Mini isn't.
3. Features - To get a heated bed and some sort of auto-leveling you needed to pay a lot of money, the Mini is relatively inexpensive.

I jumped into printing after buying this printer but I can say most of my prints look better than 90% of the stuff I see online with no profile adjustments at all. I would highly recommend this printer to anyone looking to get into 3D printing with minimal investment and maximum return.

One quick lesson I've learned is to pay attention during the auto-leveling process. When the printer probes the Z-axis you should see a light touch of the build plate, then a retraction and a very slow second probing. If the probe never fully retracts off the build plate and the second probe is depressing the build plate visibly, your extruder nozzle is probably covered with left over filament. The filament will block the electrical connection that is made during the probing process. This is probably due to the different types of filament and melting properties of each, but if it happens to you, simply take some extra care to clean the nozzle. I use the provided knife at a shallow angle to "chip away" any remaining plastic on the tip of the nozzle. Of course you want to be careful not to damage the nozzle with the knife.

Thanks to its preprogrammed flight algorithms, GPS, and dual compasses, XEagle’s got precision in its every movement. Designed to be the ULTIMATE SPORTS DRONE for even beginner pilots, XEagle’s pre-programmed flight algorithms let it automatically follow your every move - and capture your wild side from a bird’s-eye view. It’ll follow you tearing up the skatepark on your skateboard, and capture you SURFING monster waves - XEagle’s precision is down to most minute details, allowing it to record your best moves in perfectly SMOOTH video.
  • 4K ULTRA HD SPORTS CAMERA: Other brands require you to purchase a camera and attach it to your drone. Not so with XEagle, which comes with a BUILT IN HD CAMERA. Gimbal Intelligent Tracking technology calculates your relative position and adjusts for the best angle between you and XEagle, keeping you always in the center frame.
  • KEEP YOUR HANDS FREE - CONTROLLED BY XWATCH: When you’re blazing down a mountain or tearing up the slopes, you’re gonna want both hands free at all times. So here’s something unique for you: unlike most quadcopter drones, XEagle isn’t piloted by a smartphone or handheld controller. Instead it’s controlled by XWatch - which is a lot like a SMART WATCH that fits onto both your arm and wrist. Easily control the position, altitude, and speed - AND monitor flight stats - all from one compact device.
  • FLY WITHOUT FEAR: Let’s talk specifics here. XWatch displays important parameters, including flight height, radius of distance, battery level, and remaining flight time - so you can focus your attention on your adventure rather than on the controls. With built-in GPS and dual compasses, crashing isn’t a worry for XEagle. Plus, when battery’s running low, this drone will AUTOMATICALLY return to base and land safely, all on its own.

(1) Auto follow drone for outdoor activities and sports - I have used Flypro for quite some time now and I am extremely impressed with the performance, material quality and its utility. With this new type of drone you will have your dream of making your own action videos fulfilled.

On your next trip to fishing, boating, skiing, biking and running this is the drone you want to have with you to film your own cool action videos. It comes with a GPS watch which is followed by the drone. I take mine with me everywhere I go

It is equipped with a 4K camera which means you can make high quality video and the cool thing is that it can be controlled through the GPS watch. Overall this is a great buy. I would highly recommend this for your outdoor action activities.

(2) So far, I love mine!! - I just did my first review and have footage up on my youtube channel - johnmknowles65.
I think it is a great item on the right track campared to the DJI (too unreliable with GPS) and Typhoon H (big and so many moving parts), and I have both..well, all three now! Somethings would make it batter like a usb charge port on the watch so it can be charged on the go in a backpack, a little more control of the drone as far as positioning when landing, taller landing gear so the camera does not initially sit on the ground, and quick clip props so they don't fly off when the motor shuts off - lost 2 today. Other than that, this is EXACTLY what I have been looking for at a fraction of the price of the AirDog and way more reliable than the DJI for action sports! I love it so far.

(1) Good unit for motorcycle tuning - I needed a small inexpensive (<$75) Windows type tablet to do some motorcycle tuning. The nature of the software requires it to be connected while riding so it can analyze and adjust the motorcycle computer settings. After some research, I found this product and it seemed to meet all of the requirements. The rugged design was a decision point since it would need to reside on my fuel tank while riding. The rubber edges on the battery and the center recess seemed ideal.

The first unit arrived promptly. I ran into several issues with it, notably the Bluetooth was defective- not present, verified by third party system analysis software I loaded. The wi-fi adapter would not connect to a secure network. The seller in Florida was very helpful (5 star feedback has been left) and after verifying the first unit was defective they sent a second unit they had tested. It also arrived promptly and all functions are operational.

Apparently this was a very expensive unit when new. The included "Armor Utils" software allows things such as battery conditioning which helps to extend the battery life. Based on preliminary research finding a new battery for these may be a problem.

The unit itself is small- a 7" screen is only slightly larger than most phones. Having Windows 7 installed was just what I needed since my tuning software cannot fully operate on an Android system. User interface is via either stylus or touch. I found the included stylus was the best interface, and it was not always 100% on target but as with shooting a gun with misaligned fixed sights, once you know where it is hitting you can hit your target. Windows 7 allows larger fonts which were helpful. I would not want to perform routine writing/input tasks with this tablet, but for my specific function it was a good fit.

By Two_Wheeler_UJM on August 7, 2015

(2) At this price, you have nothing to lose by buying this Windows 7 Tablet - This item was accurately and completely described by the seller, Bannen Technology Partners. This is a retired surplus military tablet, with Windows 7, a touch screen and a stylus, which appeared to be secured (very well) to the back of the tablet with some kind of industrial thread.

I definitely recommend taking the seller's advice and buying this specific model and product number laptop charger, if your DRS Armor tablet purchase doesn't include one. HIPRO HP-A0652R3B is the product number for the charger I bought, and it worked perfectly.Ac Adapter Battery Charger For ACER HIPRO HP-A0652R3B SADP-65KB D 65W

I'm not even sure why I bought this - the last thing I needed was another gadget. But I couldn't resist the low price, and I was curious to see what the technology was all about. It's a little bit too slow for me - but also consider that this tablet was state of the art technology when it was brand-new. If I was able to locate and purchase a compatible docking station for a reasonable price, that would add to the usefulness of this tablet.

As far as looks, there are none. If you knew someone who owned a cell phone back in 1983, this tablet is a heavier and fatter brick than the original cell phones. It's bulky, most likely because the intended users of these tablets were in the military and probably dragged the tablets all over the place, in all kinds of climates and environments that were not friendly for electronic components. The tablet I received had 2 GB of RAM installed, an Intel Atom 1.66 GHz processor, a 40 GB SSD (solid state) hard drive and was running a 32-bit version of Windows 7 Professional. There was also a 2 megapixel built-in webcam. The screen is small, but this was also never intended to be a device used by consumers for entertainment purposes. It was originally built to get real work done, sometimes in harsh conditions.

So this is a very low-cost tablet to tinker around with, but I assure you that the fun will last way longer than it would with one of those generic Android tablets. At the time it was released in 2011, the MSRP for this tablet was, according to a professional review I found online, $2377. If you do a web search for these specific keywords: Armor X7 Performance & Conclusion, you should be able to find that review. I found it useful in learning more about this device.

(2) For the Right Person - For the right person and purpose this is a good product.I ordered it because of the larger drive and windows op system, but the ruggedness was what drew my attention. I would have been very satisfied with it except it was too heavy for me. It also has slow responsiveness and I could not use it without the stylus although my grand-kids could. I would have liked more peripheral choice as well. When I researched it I found there was a desk dock and car dock originally available but they are discontinued. I actually debated on keeping it anyway.

(1) Sleek design. Great build and very lightweight. Doesn't disappoint. - I received this laptop for my work. I'm a Mac user at home. I appreciate good design especially with clean lines. No extra bumps or carvings that have unnecessary function than tacky aesthetics.

So this Lenovo ThinkPad X1 4th Generation fit the bill perfectly. It's super clean line, super flat, and super light. Everything around is smooth so placing it in or removing from a bag or backpack is effortless. In just pops in and out.

And yet despite the thin and lightweight design, it feels solid to touch and carry. Be careful the smoothness of the cover and back may have it slip from your hand while carrying. I've been carrying this to and from meeting rooms with no problem as long as you are conscious of what you're holding.

The top cover is fabricated from carbon fiber while the bottom is from magnesium. And then the button to power up the unit is also made of metal. So even powering up the device is a solid touch.

For something so thin, typing on the keyboard is actually a joy to use. It's not something you look forward to versus an actual desktop keyboard attachment, but it's something I don't mind using at all.

The screen is bright and crisp actually. My old laptop I hated transitioning from my dual desktop monitors to the laptop screen. But this one takes the pain away. I don't need to squint or zoom.

There is a biometric sensor built beside the trackpad for added security. Too bad my workplace disabled this feature for the time being. I can't wait to begin using this instead of typing a password.

Finally there is a docking port accessory which my workplace supplied so I can dock at my desk and use my usual dual monitors, keyboard and mouse. Instead of a solid base dock like in Dell laptops, Lenovo created their own OneLink+ which is a proprietary connection on the left side of the laptop. You plug in the OneLink+ cable rather than use a traditional docking ability. It's convenient and you can reposition your laptop anywhere in the desk rather than be dictated based on how a dock wants to dock into it. Because it's just a cable, you have the freedom to adjust.

Any cons?

Well, yes there are. I'm not into the OneLink+ cable. It's a bit too flimsy for me having to insert and remove daily. Plus you can only insert it one way. If they went this route I would prefer they invented something either magnetic or sleek to insert either way. Something like Apple's Lightning connector where inserting and removing is a breeze.

Like any laptop that's docked with the lid closed, there heat. You hear the fans blowing out every now and then and these are just simple office tasks.

Third, the track pad isn't as smooth and responsive as I wanted it to be. It's not as smooth as glass and not responsive like my Mac trackpad. I don't know how Apple does it, but scrolling there is smooth and effortless. Over here I have a learning curve when using it.

Overall, I love this work laptop and hope Lenovo can only improve generation after generation.
